The exams are almost overand we are all quite happy, now waiting for exams results hope you' ll do well;anyway you can buy your christmas cards in "1º de bachillerato " or you can make them yourselves and send your greetings in English. You can also buy " loteria del niño" to help pupils to finance their trip to Paris.

The Milagrosa is over

The Milagrosa is over and we hope You have enjoyed it, especially people from" 2º de bachillerato " as it was your last one and I supposse you all had lots of lovely memories, The teachers enjoyed the lunch they prepared for us as we all spent some nice time together.
The photos from primary and secondary events can be already seen on the screen at the hall.

We know that you are all busy with exams but any ideas for the blog are welcome.

A true story

This is a true story In 1923 there was a terrible fire in Covaleda, 93 houses were destroyed by the worst fire ever seen. the fire was started by a careless man who was handling a candle in the attic of his house and was drunk, the man´s daugther called the neighbours and and a lot of people went to help them but the flames spread very quickly , the fountain ran out of water and the river was quite far away from the village when the fire brigade arrived it was already too late.

Everyone was devastated so after a few meetings and talks they decided to rebuild the houses helping each other.

We all know that Rodri website is good and interesting ( in case you don´t know Rodri is one of our teachers) that´s why we ( students from 4º A E.S.O) highly recommend it.
On this web you can find a school soap opera which is about pupils life in and out school. In this soap opera most students take part and you have to find out your own identity to be able to follow the story.
there is also a webcam and you can see Soria from the castle and another one in the computers room ( it´s like a BIG BROTHER)so watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can also play and enjoy some good games.

Last wek " los premios principes de Asturias" were given, one of the prizewinner was Amos Oz, a jew writer who has written a lot about peace and what we can all do to get it. I really recomend you to read the lovely speech he made in the ceremony of these prestigious and well known prizes.
the speech was written in hebrew and has been translated in Spanish and you can find it in the newspapers of 26 of October in the net

Enjoy the firs weekend of winter, it´s halloween as you know very important time for americans, Irish and English people
